Jesse Gonzalez received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston in 1969. He served as Chairman of the Board for SpawGlass and served as president of the Houston operations for more than fifteen years until his retirement in 2009. Jesse is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, is past President of the local chapters of Associated Builders and Contractors as well as Associated General Contractors of America and is Past Chairman of the Greater Heights Chamber of Commerce. He is a Life Member of the Houston Alumni Association and serves on the UH Civil and Environmental Engineering Industrial Advisory Board as well as on the UH Engineering Leadership Board. He is a recipient of the University of Houston Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, which he received in 2003 and will be the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the UH Alumni Association on June 3, 2011.
Mr. Gonzalez is married to Terry, his high school sweetheart, and they have four children: Tony, Felicia, Michael, and Damon.
