Scholarship applicant must be a full time undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Civil Engineering and has completed four semesters of course work towards a science or engineering degree.
Scholarship award is renewable provided the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criteria.
Applicants shall submit a statement of research objectives and career interest (200 words maximum) to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Scholarship Committee.
At the conclusion of each semester each awarded student shall provide a written report (1 to 2 pages in length) summarizing research objectives and accomplishments.
The scholarship recipient(s) shall present a poster during “Undergrad Research Day”.
Scholarship recipient may accept other scholarships and grants in conjunction with this scholarship up to the cost of attendance.
